Alumnae Bre'yanna Johnson, Tiffney Wood, with La'Tashia Hooks have joined forces to organize the third annual professional development event for male students at Paine College. This event “Alumni Gives Back” Ties for Guys has evolved into collecting gently used or new suits, ties, tie clips, and suspenders for the male students.
This year's event has expanded to include hair cutting services by local licensed Augusta barbers and professional headshots by Paine College Alumni Stirling Knight. The event is scheduled for Friday, September 6th, immediately after Chapel. Donations of items, monetary contributions, and support from alumni are welcome.
A wish list is available for alumni interested in contributing. All purchased items will be sent to a trusted Augusta Alumni's residence to directly benefit a Paine College male student. The collection deadline is August 30th, 2024. Find the wish list link below.
We also invite all alumni especially male to come out and show our current males students how to tie a tie, bow tie, how to pair a suit witht he correct tie, pocket square combination and more!!
