The Crazy Dreamer Scholarship is an annual( awarded each semester) competitive, merit-based scholarship funded by Paine College Alumni Charles Rhome, Bre’yanna D. Johnson, and Quintin Floyd.
The Crazy Dreamer Scholarship was created by three Paine College Alumni who came together to create a scholarship for two reasons.
One is to create an opportunity for the students of Paine College to receive funds needed to comfortably attend Paine and get whatever they need to thrive as a student at PC.
They wanted to give back differently; “We want the students who are in the exact place we once were to know that there are alums here to support your Crazy Dreams and that no matter if no one is clapping, never stop creating, dreaming, and thriving.”
The scholarship is awarded to a current Paine College Student who has successfully completed 18 credit hours, has a minimum of a 2.7 GPA, and has served more than 20 hours of community service.
The Crazy Dreamer Scholarship was created to assist the University’s Innovative student(s) financially. Crazy Dreamers are described as passionate about their majors and have formulated a plan to go above and beyond in order to achieve their dreams/goals. The Crazy Dreamer Scholarship is awarded to students who don’t believe in dreaming TOO BIG!
